GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF VEHICLE RENTAL RESERVATION
1- The rental price includes:
Delivery and pick-up at Malaga airport parking from 09:00 to 21:00 (outside hours, a supplement of 20 euros will be charged), full-full fuel policy, two drivers, unlimited kilometers, 24/7 roadside assistance, comprehensive insurance with excess and 21% VAT.
Excess according to reserved vehicle:
Grp. C - D 350.00 euros
Grp. E, F, J, K 450.00 euros
Grp. L1, G, I 600.00 euros
Grp. H,L2, M, O, R, Z 800.00 euros
For drivers over one year of driving license possession and between the ages of 23 and 70.
In certain vehicles, a supplement can be paid to cover excess as well as damage to tires and windscreens.
2- Place of delivery and return:
a) Malaga Airport: After collecting your luggage, please go to the Express Car Park where our staff will be waiting for you (please inform us before you go). If you are returning your rental vehicle at Malaga Airport, the designated location is the Express Parking. b) María Zambrano Train Station: If you arrive at the Málaga train station, we will be waiting for you behind the access control with a Caramba Car sign. You can also return the car at the AVE Train Station by entering the passenger drop-off and pick-up lane. https://goo.gl/maps/aqcQPwAEFzoEdE1D6
c) We also provide vehicle delivery services to hotels and apartments, which are subject to a supplement based on distance, and the minimum rental period is three days.
d) Vehicle return: The car must be returned to the agreed place and time in the rental contract. It must be in the same condition as it was received.
3- Payment method:
For web reservations, no credit card is required, and no advance payment is required. The amount can be paid at the time of vehicle delivery by credit card (Visa, Mastercard, Amex...). If payment is made when reserving the vehicle, an additional discount can be obtained.
4- Cancellation of reservation:
If you need to cancel your reservation with more than 48 hours' notice, we will refund 100% of the amount to your card. If you cancel with less notice, we will refund the amount that exceeds 20€, which corresponds to administrative fees.
5- Payments and other expenses:
a) In the case of advance payment through our website, CARAMBA CAR will be responsible for the transactions made. Therefore, we will request the card, as well as the identification documentation of the cardholder.
b) Fuel: The customer must return the vehicle with the same amount of fuel as it was delivered. The company will not refund any excess fuel. If the vehicle is returned with less fuel, it will be charged according to the market price.
c) Delivery or collection outside business hours (21:00 - 09:00): The 20-euro (out-of-hours supplement) fee will be paid in cash upon vehicle delivery or at the time of reservation through our website.
d) In the event of returning the vehicle with new damages and not having hired the comprehensive coverage, the customer must pay for the repair, limited to the maximum amount of the excess indicated in point 1. Comprehensive insurance does not cover driving the vehicle in a physically impaired condition caused by alcohol, drugs, fatigue, or illness, as well as driving on unpaved roads.
e) The rental price includes a standard cleaning of the vehicle. However, in the event that the vehicle requires special cleaning due to improper return, Caramba Car will be obliged to charge an amount of up to 90€.
6- GPS navigation system rental:
We can offer you a rental GPS navigator (TomTom) with the vehicle. The navigator can be easily attached to the windshield and removed for transport. By selecting the extras screen, you will see the rental price for the navigator.
You must be at least 21 years old for vehicles in groups A-E, and over 25 for all other vehicles. Additionally, you must have a driver's license with a minimum of 2 years of experience. The maximum age is 70 years old (exceptions may apply).
To preserve the environment, all of our contracts are digital. Therefore, when reserving the vehicle, we will need in advance photos of the driver's license, identification or passport, as well as the address of origin and destination. At the time of delivery, we will verify possession of the driver's license and identification.
8- Unforeseen changes before and during rental:
In the event that the lessor cannot provide the service due to force majeure or other causes beyond the company's control, the company undertakes to provide a vehicle of a higher category. If this is not possible, the lessor must inform the lessee no later than 48 hours in advance of the reservation, of the impossibility of renting the vehicle.
In the event of flight schedule changes, please notify us as soon as possible to modify the time/dates. If you want to make changes during the rental, or you want to change the vehicle, please contact our offices to confirm availability.
9- Other unforeseen events:
In case of theft, accident, or other incidents, please follow these instructions:
a) Report the incident to the police
b) Call us within a maximum of 24 hours at our offices or mobile phones.
c) Send us the accident report and a photocopy of the police report within a maximum of 7 days.
d) In the event of larger accidents where the vehicle is no longer in a drivable condition, we will replace the vehicle as soon as possible with one of similar characteristics so you can continue to enjoy your stay in Andalusia. The cars are fully insured with a deductible, so your liability in case of an accident or theft (without negligence) is limited to the deductible (see table above) and the cost of delivering the new vehicle.
Lost or left keys in the car:
If you have lost the vehicle keys or left them inside the car, please call us and we will provide a replacement key as soon as possible. The costs of key copying and replacement will be charged to the customer.
In the event of a flat tire, please call us and we will assist you. The costs of repair and/or tire replacement are not covered by insurance and will be charged to the customer. Our travel assistance service can help you change the tire or tow the vehicle if necessary.
Take the car out of Spain:
Vehicles are not authorized to leave Spanish territory or the Iberian Peninsula. Therefore, the customer will be responsible for any damage caused to the vehicle, as well as its possible repatriation.

Therefore, together with each personal data collection form, CARAMBA CAR will inform the User of the specific conditions for the treatment of their data in each case, in accordance with the aforementioned regulations.
